After 27 years in Manchester, England, I retired as a Barrister and part-time Judge in 1998 and moved to Sarasota, Florida. Early in 2010 I relocated to St. Augustine, Florida.

Since moving to Florida I've been involved in real estate working as a Buyers Agent Specialist, helping buyers purchase properties and businesses. I never have nor will ever list property so as to remain a buyer specialist here in St. Augustine.

I am an overseas member of the National Association of Estate Agents, a member of the St. Augustine/St. Johns County Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, a certified foreign legal consultant by the Florida Bar, and part time immigration paralegal with a major law firm. I am a UEFA B licensed soccer coach and an avid fan of Manchester United.

I am a competitive runner (member of the Ancient City Road Runners Club), a social biker and a kayaker. I am licensed by the City of St. Augustine for walking tours and love to show the history and charm of this ancient city to visitors and encourage them to relocate here as I did.

In my spare time I love to travel and have seen most countries in the Western world and several in the East. I have been married 34 years with two kids aged 26 (graduate of USF) and 22 (also at USF).

For 27 years practiced as a Barrister in United Kingdom; I have appeared in all types of legal cases, criminal, family, civil, building disputes, personal injury in every level of Courts including two appearances in the House of Lords (highest court in the U.K.). Much of my time was spent drafting complaints, defenses, and pre-trial paper work. I was involved in at least six cases making legal precedent. I have appeared in many substantial family and personal injury including the longest child abuse trial ever. 

Nominated to and sat on the Area Board of the Law Society hearing appeals from persons refused legal aid certificates for representation.

1992-1998

Appointed by the Lord Chancellor as a Deputy District Judge and sat for at least 50 days a year trying all types of civil and divorce cases, and pre-trial interlocutory hearings.

As an arbitrator I determined several large disputes.

1998

With green cards emigrated to Sarasota, Florida.

1998 – 1999

Managed Ben Kay Attorney’s criminal and immigration office. Interviewed clients; prepared cases for Court, and sat with lead attorney assisting at trial.

1999-2000

Ben Kay became unwell and office closed . Brett McIntosh his assistant set up alone and I assisted him.

2000 – date

Self employed paralegal at Peter Jaensch immigration law firm as needed. Prepared O, L, E and family based visas for attorney review.

2000 – to date

Self employed realtor and relocation consultant.    

2006 - 2007

Paralegal and managed Peter Jaensch Attorney real estate/probate law office. Small estate testate and intestate probate, filing tax deed surplus applications. Office closed as Peter Jaensch retired.

January 2007 to February 2008

Paralegal per diem at Levin Tannenbaum working large construction dispute cases; drafting for attorney review all documents including inter alia 90 paragraph complaints, and 300 paragraph defenses and affirmative answers.

February 2008 to December 2008

Office manager for Engel and Voelkers Main Street Real estate office.
