Sean Hess, Broker and Managing Partner

My philosopy is pretty simple: get buyers the most home for the money, and sellers the most money for their home.  Do this by hiring the best agents in the market...and then get out of their way!

I've established myself as an expert in St. Augustine and St. Johns real estate over the past 11 years.  I cut my teeth in the #2 role managing Watson Realty's office in St. Augustine and serving as its Broker and Broker Associate for Training.  In 2009, with Ron and Kate, I founded St. Augustine Team Realty and took it from start up to profitability in 18 months.  

I listen to my customers, my agents, and then I work hard to keep them ahead of the competition.  I'll do the same for you too

  • Chair of the Board for Big Brothers and Big Sister of St. Johns County, 2009-2011.
  • I've been a Big Brother since 2002.
  • I was Big Brother of the Year 2005.
  • Since 2005 I've donated a portion of my gross commission to charity, and I make a donation to a tree planting or habitat restoring organization with every sale.
 
Education and Previous Experience

I have a B.A. in Journalism from The Ohio State University. As a Realtor I have taken numerous continuing education and sales courses through my local boards, the Florida Real Estate Institute, the Bert Rodgers Institute, Mark Leader Sales Courses, JTS Coaching Advisors, and Integrity Coaching Systems.

 
 
Personal

I am happily married with two wonderful children. In my spare time I'm an elite amateur bicycle racer, where I've placed as high as 10th in the U.S.A. Cycling National Championships in my age group. I am currently a cat-2 racer.
