RON BARRY OF ST. AUGUSTINE TEAM RIDES IN THE THINK PINK IN OCTOBER MOTORCYCLE RUN

St. Augustine Team Realty’s Ron Barry rode in the recent Think Pink In October motorcycle run to benefit Unity Outreach, a local organization that promotes breast cancer awareness.

“It was an amazing ride,” said Barry, “last year there were only 80 bikes and this year it was like 270.  There were motorcycles everywhere but it was so well organized that everything went off without a hitch.  I made it a point to do this ride each year because I never want to see my wife or daughter deal with breast cancer.” 

Unity Outreach was founded after the death of St. Augustine’s Judee Owens at age 31.  According to their website, “Unity Outreach, Inc. was founded due to the realization that there was a need for women to be more aware of the impotrance of their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Our efforts are to prevent the loss of another loved one to this awful disease. Through education, fellowship, and support, this awareness will improve the quality of life for women and for those they care for and those who care for them.”
